About the Founder
Jernine Fernando Kim
Jernine brings nearly two decades of experience across institutional real estate and private equity environments, with roles at firms including Goldman Sachs, Oaktree Capital Management, J.P. Morgan, and Deloitte. She began her career as a CPA in audit, establishing a strong foundation in financial discipline, controls, and governance that continues to inform her work.
She was instrumental in scaling two emerging real estate platforms, Arc Capital Partners and Standard Real Estate Investments, helping to build the operating and financial infrastructure required to support growth, institutional capital, and increasing portfolio complexity. Her work included direct engagement with institutional capital partners, supporting the operational, reporting and governance requirements that come with scaling a growing portfolio.
Her background spans asset management, portfolio oversight, and corporate finance, with a focus on how operating decisions, financial discipline, and execution come together to drive performance. Across both large institutions and growing platforms, she has worked at the intersection of strategy and execution - supporting the systems, processes, and decision-making frameworks that enable businesses to scale.
